Eurofighter Typhoon Engraved Pewter Whisky Tumbler
Our Eurofighter Typhoon Pewter Whisky Tumbler pays tribute to the aircraft currently guarding British skies — a properly weighted whisky tumbler with the unmistakable delta-canard silhouette of the Typhoon beautifully engraved on the side of the glass, set into a handmade pewter base polished to a high shine. The pewter wraps around the bottom of the tumbler, lifting it from a glass into something considerably more substantial.
Unlike most aircraft in our aviation range, the Typhoon is very much still working. Built collaboratively by Britain, Germany, Italy and Spain and in front-line RAF service since 2003, it's the aircraft that scrambles when unidentified traffic wanders too close to British airspace — the modern equivalent of the Spitfires and Hurricanes doing exactly the same job eighty-five years ago. Twin Eurojet engines, thrust-vectoring, and the kind of agility that makes it one of the finest multi-role fighters in the world. Whenever an RAF display appears at an airshow with a supersonic pass that makes the ground shake, it's usually a Typhoon.
The pewter base is handmade at our Birmingham workshop in some of the finest British Pewter, polished by hand to a bright finish. The tumbler holds 300ml — a generous measure for a fine single malt, a favourite bourbon, or anything else worth raising — and weighs around 415g, giving it the substantial, properly-grounded feel that the best whisky glassware always has.
Add a personal engraving to the glass to turn it into a one-of-a-kind keepsake. For the full experience, you can add a set of stainless steel whisky stones, which chill a dram without ever diluting it. It arrives presented in a gift box, making it a perfect gift for serving and retired RAF personnel, Typhoon groundcrew and pilots, quick reaction alert veterans, aviation enthusiasts, families of squadron members, Father's Day, milestone birthdays, or for yourself, why not.

A E Williams (Est 1779) Ltd is one of Britain's oldest pewter makers, still run by the family that founded it nearly 250 years ago.
The story began when Thomas Williams started a small workshop making flatware and dishes from his home on the Welsh border, and from there the craft passed down through eight generations of the same family, all the way to Rebecca Johnson, who joined the business in 2015.
Today we're based at our workshop in Digbeth, Birmingham, where we've been since the early 1970s.

We work from a collection of over 1,500 antique bronze moulds, some of which are centuries old. Many were made by hand long before machine tooling existed, and we still use them today, alongside moulds and skills of our own, to produce pieces with the kind of character that mass production simply can't replicate.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
At A E Williams, the materials we work with have been chosen over nearly 250 years of making things properly. Pewter sits at the heart of everything we do, but we also work with slate, glass, leather, and wood — each selected because it brings something the others can't: a different feel, a different occasion, a different kind of beauty.
Whatever you're looking for, every material we use is chosen to last, and to look better for it.
